Welcome to the main event of this site!!!

In this topic I'll post every last detail that I can think of to help you survive and function in the Role-Play. Afro
When ever your confused just look back on this site, and read on what you need, and if its not here just post the question to your admins and mods.


Section 1:Creating your Character-

The most simple way to create a character is, first of all think of his look.  I would recommend using http://www.tektek.org/dream/ for getting the most effective way for an image of your character. Also http://www.tektek.org/gaia/items.php that and evolving items choice gives you variety amongst accessories for your char. Your standard Shinigami should have the basic uniform on. (The Create your Character section is currently not up at the moment, so just hold onto your char until then)

Things that make up the outfits are:(captain) White Haori, or other colored preferable white, Kuro Kosode,A Katana, Tabi, and Buddhist Monk or Wooden Sandles following any other decoration, as long as its not too dressed up. The same thing for the lieutenant except for the haori.

Create profile with this simple layout:

Name:

Age: Shinigami's, Arrancar (coming soon) Are dead to you should have they're age in the 100's and 1000's, but put that they appear to the be the age of 19, 20, or whatever you want.
Height:
Weight:
Rank
Appearance: Put a description of your person, or use the website link given, and post the image
Description: Describe his or hers personality, and things about them.
 
Zanpaktou: Everyone has a Zanpaktou, and is known in the show that it has a name, and it has its own form and personality. Not all of the Zanpaktou's look the same, so give it its own color and design etc. So describe all that here.

Shikai: This is one of the fun parts of the series, creating your own release ability! For those of you who don't know a shikai is the first special ability form the zanpaktou takes.  To release the ability, the person must call out a command, and following the zanpaktous name. For Example: Crush your obstacle, Redoku... something along those lines.  But the main thing to know about a Shikai, is that the appearance of your sword changes into a new shape revealing its first release. A Shikai isn't limited to one type of technique, some have multiple as much as 4 (and thats the max for it too). They just aren't as strong as the Bankai release.

And heres another of Ikkaku after his shikai release, notice that it doesn't necessarily stay the shape of a sword.

This Gif shows the character Byakuya Kuchiki's Shikai which disperses into cherry blossoms, but the irony of it is that each one is a sword, and is to quick for a human eye.

Bankai: The Bankai is the final form and release of your Zanpaktou. This is its ultimate form, and brings out 100% of the users power, and the Zanpaktou's.  The way to release the bankai is to just simply call out bankai, and the change can go as far as the users appearance.  The bankai comes with a load of abilities depending on your choice, but only a maximum of 5. Only captains and a few lieutenants can use the bankai technique. Just remember that all Bankai's have to somehow relate to the swords shikai, and not change all together.

I've made a bit of a example before stating that a shikai to bankai transformation can't be for example, a spear, to the spear being on fire as some people tried to do Sad, but here are some pictures and video's that sort of give the message of what im trying to say.

This is the part 2 of the Official: How to Guide.

Section 2: Role-Playing

This is the basic thing your going to be doing for the most part around here, if not socializing in the other boards.  Most of you should pretty much know how things work for an RP, but its a how to guide, so you gotta throw everything in there Tongue!

I'll give an example Role-Play Conversation, and go a little bit further into it. Using my fancy new RP system  Afro!

Here in our example we'll use our two fine avatars: Ryu and Mia

Lets put them at a school enviroment.

Ryu: Good Morning Mia!
( Adding the characters image,and facial expression is my own personal perk that I use, but your welcome to do it. Always have the name of your character before the speech so people will know who's is speaking.)

Mia: *Turns around and See's Ryu* How are you doing this morning Ryu?
(The *'s indicate an action that your character is doing)

Ryu: Do you have any idea what last nights homework was?
(Again just your basic conversation)

Mia: (Mooching off of peoples work again I see) I sure don't.
(The parenthesis represent what the characters are thinking at the moment)

Thats basically the regular motion an RP will go.

Section 2.2: Fighting!!!

Fighting or Sparring will be another important part of this Role Play.  When fighting be fair with your attacks, and also know when some things are powerful than others.  For Example, a simple cut from a student at an academy can't destroy someone's bankai.  A lieutenant can't over power a captain's bankai with it's own.  Don't always try to dodge every thing your opponent throws at you. Instead try to dodge but barely grazing it, or countering it with your own attack.  Fighting is pretty much a team thing, and it will take both users to make the fight go successful and fun.  Don't G'mod everything.

Anything other than sparring, in the serietti is strictly forbidden, and can be punishable.  (Its part of the story just go with it.)   People of lower rank should always respect people of their higher rank.

Welcome the Part 3 of the Guide, Section 2 told you how to RP.

In this section I'll go over traveling from Board To Board, and Arcs. Basically tell you the purpose of so many boards and how to go around them.

Section 3: Traveling Around
The main thing I like doing in my forum RP's is having so places to go, but I decided this time around that it's become quite crowded and confusing, so I shall instead of having child boards just have different topics close together.   Cool

Section 3.2: Story Arcs

We can't just keep doing the same thing over and over again. So from time to time we will throw in a story line, and add in a few new possibly temporary characters for someone to use.  During story arcs you can submit idea's in the suggestion part of the forum.  We may do a variety of stories, to serious, funny, and even some resulting if death if someone wants to volunteer. 

Don't limit yourself to idea's, even if some of your ideas get rejected that doesn't mean they all will. We'll consider mostly all of them as long as they make some sort of sense.

To submit one post an idea, and if we accept the idea we'll PM you I the first captain will discuss the idea with the rest of our captains in the admin forum, and decide on if we would like to do your arc.  We'll PM you and you must tell us how it will start and how you plan on it to finish, and we play it all through the middle. 

Others be considerate to an arc, and instead of moping around and complaining about it, just go along with it or sit out instead of bashing the idea completely.
